This was written by Shri Senkalipuram Anantharama Dikshitar when he went to Guruvayur and was having the darshan of the lord . This song came to him at that time . Later he told his disciples that this song when properly learnt and chanted will make one feel very happy. Whoever chants this shlokam with full faith in the Lord will surely get His blessings.
